Wendra was born at Ista Hold in turn 429 of the last Interval. At the age of fifteen she was searched for Clarianth's clutch at Ista Weyr, where she failed to impress. She decided to stay on as a nanny at the Weyr, continuing to stand whenever a gold egg was present.
In 448 Benden Weyr was reopened, and she was one of those sent along, easily slipping into the role of nanny there. Uneasy with the thought of females on fighting dragons, Wendra did not stand for the infamous re-opening clutch, but she did go back with the group and stood in the past. Her lifemate was finally shelled in Ashayath's first Benden clutch, but was not what Wendra had expected; Dulcieth is most certainly a green.
